Torra Bay

Visitors to one of Namibia’s top fishing spots and hard-core camping grounds on the Skeleton Coast will be pleasantly surprised when they show up at Torra Bay for their usual summer holidays.

A facelift of note at this Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) facility includes more and better shower facilities, including ones large enough to accommodate the whole family; flush toilets (a big improvement on the former long-drop variety); a new shop and kiosk; and a communal chill-out area to share tales on the day’s catch. Torra Bay is situated about 270 kilometres north of Henties Bay and is open only between December and January.
