Where Is It?

Thursday 20 Aug - Kubu Island & Makgadikgadi - Arrive for dinner at 20h00 and count the stars during the sleepover on the 3 500 km2 Makgadikgadi saltpans

Friday 21 Aug - Planet Baobab & Gweta, Botswana - Stunning community facility along the road to Maun. Next day we'll pass Maun, see the Okavango and eat lunch at the famous Bon Arivee

Saturday 22 Aug - Ngepi - Camp on the banks of the mighty Okavango River, and swim in a caged pool amongst those we'd rather not meet elsewhere

Sunday 23 Aug - Ngepi – Netumbo: the name of the boat we'll use for the whole day, cruising, game viewing and tiger fishing! Launched from the renowned Popa Falls

Monday 24 Aug - Salambala - Camp on the banks of the Chobe, where we hope to spot the largest herd of zebra ever to be seen, of course mixed with good sightings of buffalo

Tuesday 25 Aug - Namwi, Katima - Camp on the banks of the Zambezi, for another mighty river experience

Wednesday 26 Aug - Maramba River Lodge, Zambia - Drive into Zambia and camp at the perfect setting, only kilometres from the famous Vic Falls. We’ll do a sundowner and take a splash in the Devil's pools. The next morning we’ll experience a Vic Falls sunrise, and do some curio shopping at the local market place, where after we’ll return to Namibia. Dinner at the famous Italian Olga's

Thursday 27 Aug - Namwi, Katima - Return to Namwi for another day in paradise!

Friday 28 Aug - Nambwa Camp - This is one of our highlights: a community camp adjacent to Horseshoe, in the Babwatwa National Park, where we hope to meet buffalo and elephants eye-to-eye

Saturday 29 Aug - Nambwa Camp - the final day of the tour. Guests could stay on, return to their home destinations...or follow us back to Waterberg (on your own account of course)...
