Space Observation Learning
Space Observation Learning Namibia (SOLNA) was founded in July 2009 to offer stargazing and astronomy education for the public at large and for the foreign visitors alike. We are passionate about sharing the wonders of the Namibian sky with you.
The "Astro-Nut" in charge, Robert Johnstone, is an astronomer and recognised astronomy educator. Rob has been involved in astronomy since seeing Halley's Comet for the first time in 1986 in South Africa. Rob then knew that his life's passion was to be astronomy and to share with everyone what he has learned. During the past many years Rob has educated and enthralled many tourists, schools, educational institutions, companies and corporates, and the general public in Namibia and South Africa.
All our activities can be tailor-made to your specific needs and we are available to all - from school children, the general public and the more experienced alike.
