Located halfway between Okaukuejo and Namutoni in Etosha National Park amongst shady Mopane trees lies the tranquil Halali.

Halali is in the center of the park and can be reached either via entering the park at Okaukuejo (Andersson Gate) or via Namutoni (the Von Lindequist Gate. The camp, surrounded by some of the most popular waterholes in the park has the added advantage of a secluded, scenic, flood-lit waterhole. The surrounding area lends itself popular to game viewing where in particular Leopard sightings are almost a certainty.

Accommodation at Halali is provided in a variety style of rooms to suits our wide range of visitors. All of these rooms have air-conditioning, lamps, tea/coffee station and a mini-fridge. The beds have mosquito nets. In the bathrooms, there is complimentary shampoo, soap, hand and body lotion, as well as soft towels.

What To Do?

  • Swimming: swimming pool facilities provide the visitor with an outlet to the high summer temperatures in Etosha
  • Game viewing: Best done in the cool of the early morning and late afternoon, most people choose to drive themselves around the park - stopping at the various waterhole's and watching the animals as they come down to drink
  • Guided morning, afternoon or nights drives
  • Nature walks within the camp
